Text messages

Thistle Facilities Group texts the people who work for our service partners about their jobs with us. These are the owners, foremen, crew members and office staff of the landscaping, snow and specialty companies that take on work for Thistle, and who use our ThistleOS partner app. We never send marketing texts.

How to opt in

Texts are off until you switch them on yourself. In the partner app, open Settings, then Text Me, and switch on Send Me Job Texts. Right beside the switch, the app shows what you're agreeing to. For a crew member, it reads:

By switching this on, you agree to get texts from Thistle Facilities Group at (your mobile number) about jobs given to you and check-in reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop or HELP for help. Terms: thistlefacilities.com/terms. Privacy: thistlefacilities.com/privacy.

We keep a record of the words you agreed to, when you agreed and your number. After you switch texts on, we text you once to confirm. Opting in is never required to use the app or to work with Thistle.

What we send

What you get depends on your role in the app:

  • Owners: new jobs for your company, check-in reminders and payment notices
  • Foremen: new jobs for your company and check-in reminders
  • Crew: jobs given to you and check-in reminders
  • Office: payment notices for your company

A check-in reminder goes out when nobody has checked in at a job: 30 minutes after its start time, or 4 hours before its deadline. It goes to the person the job was given to, or to the owners and foremen if nobody has been given it yet. Routine texts that would arrive between 9 PM and 7 AM wait until 7 AM. Storm jobs, urgent jobs and reminders go out right away. Texts come in English or Spanish, whichever you use in the app.

Who they come from

Job texts come from (678) 606-8409. We don't read texts sent back to that number, so for anything else, call (678) 336-5216 or email partners@thistlefacilities.com.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any job text, or switch Send Me Job Texts off in the app. We'll confirm once, and send nothing more until you reply START or switch texts back on. Reply HELP for help. Stopping job texts doesn't stop the one-time sign-in codes you ask for.

Message frequency varies with how much work you do with us. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your privacy

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, or consent to receive text messages, with third parties for their marketing purposes.
